Hurricane Matthew- Urgent Need

We have finally had contact with Duchity! Two friends traveled from Port-au-Prince to check on our village. 

They said every house is destroyed or damaged. The rain was so bad that foundations are even damaged. 

Gardens are gone. 90% of animals are lost. Local churches and schools are damaged. The road is broken but cars can pass with difficulty. 

BUT- Praise the LORD- the HOPE Library is not damaged! It is being used as a refuge center and 45 families are there (170 pspoke). 4 people loss their lives and there are injuries. 

Our village needs food, water, rebuilding materials…
